Chile: FNE chosen to lead International Anti-Cartel Group

The National Economic Prosecutor’s Office of Chile has been chosen, in conjunction with the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets, to lead the Cartel Prosecution Techniques Group hosted by the International Competition Network (ICN).

The FNE was voted by its peers from more than 60 countries. The ICN is made up of institutions dedicated to the prevention, detection and punishment of anti-competitive cases at local and international levels. With this new appointment, the FNE will promote coordination efforts between competition agencies and lead the development of new practical guidelines to combat cartels.
