Germany: Latham & Watkins recruits antitrust lawyer from Freshfields

Latham & Watkins LLP has brought on an antitrust attorney formerly with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP as a partner in its office in Dusseldorf, Germany, the firm announced.

Michael Esser will be a partner in Latham’s antitrust and competition practice, where he is expected to continue advising German and international companies on a broad range of complex merger control and contentious antitrust matters, according to the firm’s May 3 announcement.
