ANGELENE DUKE focuses on EU and UK competition law.

Angelene has experience in abuse of dominance cases, antitrust counseling, cartel investigations, information exchange, litigation and merger control. She has been involved in cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Commission as well as national competition authorities in major jurisdictions around the world.

She has advised major companies in a wide range of business sectors such as agribusiness, food and beverages, chemicals, cosmetics, electronics, financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, technology and telecommunications.

Angelene trained as a solicitor in Sidley’s London office, where she gained experience in dispute resolution, tax, insolvency and corporate/commercial law. As part of her training contract, she also did a secondment to the Brussels office, where she gained a broad grounding in EU competition law and EU litigation.

Angelene is currently working towards a Masters Degree in EU Competition Law at King’s College, University of London. As part of those studies, she is researching and writing on the application of behavioral economics to abuse of dominance cases..
