Felipe Irarrazabal Philippi is the Director of CentroCompetencia (CeCo) at the Adolfo Ibáñez University in Chile and Senior Fellow at the same institution. Studied law at the University of Chile (cum laude), with post-graduate studies at Yale in the United States. An expert in competition law and economic regulation, Mr. Irarrazabal was designated to head Chile’s National Economic Prosecutor (Fiscalía Nacional Económica, FNE) by President Piñera in April 2010 following a public contest for High Public Office. His tenure was renewed for a second four-year term in 2014 by President Bachelet.


Before taking his position at the head of the FNE, he was a partner at  Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner (now Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría), as well as working at Cleary, Gotlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York.
