Hugh Mullan

Hugh has worked as a competition economist for over 15 years, mainly with the UK competition authority, but also spending a number of years in consultancy and providing in-house advice. He has worked across competition policy tools, most recently in merger assessments. He has a particular research interest in competition analysis of vertical restraints and the impact on these from the internet and digital tools. He is currently an Assistant Director of Economics at the Competition and Markets Authority.
