Mike Vita has worked with the US Federal Trade Commission since 1984. Starting as an economist, he was an Acting Director from 2017 to 2018 and is currently the Deputy Director for Research & Management. He received his BA Economics at Penn State University and received both his MS Economics and his PhD Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
