Sabre Corp., a travel technology company facing antitrust litigation, has appointed Hulu LLC’s former top lawyer Chadwick Ho as its new chief legal officer.
Ho, who will join Sabre next month, spent more than a decade as general counsel and corporate secretary for Hulu, the on-demand video and streaming media company controlled by the Walt Disney Co.
He most recently oversaw legal matters for Disney-owned television networks and streaming media services, such as ABC, ESPN, FX, Freeform, National Geographic, and the Disney Channel, as well as ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu. Ho departs some six months after Disney tapped Horacio Gutierrez to be its new chief legal officer.
Ho was succeeded at Hulu last year by current deputy chief counsel Angie Kang, according to a Disney spokeswoman. The Burbank, Calif.-based company has yet to name a replacement for his most recent role.
