Professor Pablo Ibáñez Colomo has been awarded a Jean Monnet Chair in Competition and Regulation. Jean Monnet activities are supported by the European Commission with the aim of promoting excellence in teaching and research activities in EU studies worldwide.
The award recognizes the Department of Law’s long tradition of excellence in EU law-related subjects and signals its commitment to EU law studies. The Chair will coordinate the creation of new activities, which will focus on Competition Law, State Aid and the Regulation of Network Industries.
