Nestle Malaysia has issued a statement denying charges of price-fixing. The Federation of Malaysian Consumer Associations had accused the chocolate maker of unfair trading practices, such as setting retail prices of products like Milo, Nescafe, and Maggi. In its statement, Nestle claims that its Brand Equity Protection Policy allows only loss leaders to have its price set by the company.
