Gianni De Stefano is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Litigation Department and the firm’s Global Antitrust and Competition Practice Group. Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, he practiced European Union (EU) and Italian competition law with a leading US firm in Rome and was subsequently an intern at the Federal Trade Commission – Antitrust Division in New York.
His practice focuses on a wide range of issues under EU and Italian antitrust law. Mr. De Stefano has worked on matters involving a broad range of industries, including fast moving consumer goods, luxury and branded goods, air transport, household appliances, medical devices, software and technology.
Furthermore, Mr. De Stefano has assisted major Italian and international companies in several investigations conducted by the Italian Antitrust Authority (IAA). He has also supervised several merger filings and notifications to the IAA.
