AREAS OF PRACTICE
Marcin Trepka is a member of the global Antitrust, Competition and Trade Regulation practice at K&L Gates. He spearheads the competition team in Warsaw.
He specializes in Polish and EU competition law including restrictive practices and agreements (in particular cartels), abuse of dominant market position by large network companies, merger control and state aid. Marcin represents clients before the competition authorities as well as courts of law.
In addition, Marcin is active in the development of international competition law policy, serving as the Co-Chairman of the global Cartel and Leniency Task Force of the ICC Competition Commission in Paris, as the Vice-President of the ICC Competition Commission in Poland and as a Polish Competition Agency Non-Governmental Advisor (NGA) to the International Competition Network.
Marcin is recommended in the Legal500 and Chambers Europe international rankings as "very pragmatic, focused on the goal and really enthusiastic." Sources add: "He knows how to listen and explain things in a manner understandable to clients."
