Martyna Wurm is an associate in the K&L Gates Warsaw office and a member of the Antitrust, Competition & Trade Regulation Practice. She practices in the area of Polish and European competition law, including anticompetitive agreements, abuse of dominant market position, merger control and state aid. Martyna Wurm specializes in consumer protection law, advising business entities on their compliance with consumer rights. In her practice she also uses her knowledge of finance and economics, which enables her effective application of competition law regulations in the financial sector as well as in the transactions and in merger clearance proceedings.
She has authored articles and appeared at conferences and workshops for entrepreneurs. Most recently she took part in preparation within the Task Force on Cartels and Leniency of the ICC Commission on Competition publication “ICC Leniency Manual” providing a factual and visual overview of the leniency programs in 20 different jurisdictions, explaining the leniency application process and providing guidance for business on filing local or multi-jurisdictional applications.
