Ingo Vogelsang is Professor of Economics at Boston University. He has a Dr.rer.pol. from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and has taught Economics at the University of Bonn before joining Boston University in 1981. He has published sixteen books and many articles in the areas of public utility regulation and deregulation and of privatization of public enterprises. His books include The Handbook of Telecommunications Economics. His main interests lie in pricing and competition issues of network industries.
