Michael is a partner of Fangda partners and the head of its antitrust practice in China. He has extensive experience in advising clients on all aspects of Chinese competition law, covering a broad range of industry sectors including chemicals, consumer products and retail, energy and natural resources, financial institutions, healthcare, infrastructure and transport and private equity. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a partner of a leading international law firm in China, heading its antitrust practice in the Greater China region. Michael also worked as an official with MOFTEC (now the Ministry of Commerce, or MOFCOM). Michael is ranked in Band 1 of competition lawyers in China by Chambers Asia from 2009 till now. He is recognized by ASIAN-MENA COUNSEL as In-House Community Commended External Counsel of the Year, 2017.
