Rio Tinto gets OK to acquire Olkhovoye charter capital

The Federal Antimonopoly Service has approved Rio Tinto’s application to acquire 100 percent of Olkhovoye’s charter capital. The U.K.-based Rio Tinto is one of the world’s largest mining companies. Olkhovoye develops gold and silver deposits in Kamchatka.
