Sweden: Toyota sells off dealerships

Auto maker giant Toyota will reportedly sell several of its dealerships in Sweden to Bilia, the largest car sales chain in Scandinavia.

Toyota’s Sweden operations will divest dealerships in Malmö, Trelleborg and Lund, a transaction set to take place on March 1 of this year. The acquisitions remain subject to regulatory approval by the Swedish Competition Authority

The deal is valued at about $7.4 million.
