A San Antonio doctor failed to show that Baptist Health System violated antitrust laws by excluding him after he was fired by a medical practice that was its sole provider of pediatric anesthesiology services, a federal judge ruled Monday, April 13.
Jaydeep Shah was the director of pediatric anesthesiology and perioperative services for one of Baptist Health’s four hospitals from 2006 until 2016, when he lost his job as a department director at nonparty STAR Anesthesiology PA.
