Lawyers from the PGA Tour recently met with officials from the Justice Department in Washington. The timeline for completion of the review and any potential actions that may be taken by the government in regards to golf are currently unclear.
The inquiry has caused further disruption in the sport, which has been dealing with the emergence of LIV Golf, a league that enticed top players from the PGA Tour with funds from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund.
