Bates White announced on July 24 that the former Assistant Section Chief at the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Antitrust Division, Dr. Nicholas Hill, has joined the firm as a Principal in the Antitrust and Competition practice.
Dr. Hill has supervised and led investigations in various industries, including telecoms, airlines, banking, insurance and dairy. He was involved with the Aetna/Humana merger while working at the DOJ as well as the Halliburton/Baker Hughes merger.
Cory Capps, a partner in the firm’s Antitrust and Competition practice, said, “We are delighted to welcome Dr. Hill to the firm.
