US: Lowenstein antitrust chairman to head firm’s new D.C. location

The chairman of Lowenstein Sandler’s antitrust group is reportedly slated to become top administrator at the firm’s new D.C. location.

Jeffrey Blumenfeld will head Lowenstein’s new office, which will open with three relocated partners and four insurance coverage lawyers from Dickstein Shapiro.

Lowenstein announced Monday that the new, 7-attorney office has “room to grow” at its location on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. According to the firm, the new location will focus on regulatory work and will aim to recruit lawyers who now work for the federal government.

The 300-attorney law firm also has locations in New York, New Jersey and California.
