US: NY court reinforces radio antitrust suit block

A US Court of Appeals in New York has ruled that a radio company cannot bring its antitrust claims against agencies in the state, according to reports. Gatt Communications Inc., which manufacturers and sells radios, is alleging collusion and bid-rigging among New York agencies. A 2nd Circuit US Court of Appeals reaffirmed a lower courts previous ruling that Gatt lacked standing in their claims. Gatt is accusing Wineland and PMC of participating in a bid-rigging scheme between 2005 and 2007. Gatt also admitted to participating in the scheme.
