US: Top FTC antitrust lawyer to join Boies Schiller

 |  December 3, 2013

After four years as a top antitrust lawyer at the Federal Trade Commission, Richard Feinstein will reportedly rejoin Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP.

Feinstein resigned from his FTC position last June. He had first worked at Boies Schiller in 2001 until 2009 after his first three-year stint at the FTC. He went back to the FTC in 2009.

Before then, Feinstein worked in the antitrust division of the US Department of Justice. In his 36 years of antitrust practice Feinstein has worked for various government and private antitrust cases, including pharmaceutical pay-for-delay cases.

David Boies said Tuesday that the firm is excited to have Feinstein back, describing him as “a unique package.”

The lawyer will reportedly continue work in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, as well as overall antitrust work.
