Till Müller-Ibold is a partner based in the Brussels office.Â
Mr. Müller-Ibold's practice focuses on EU law, where he specializes in certain areas of competition law (such as EU scrutiny of state aid), public procurement, anti-dumping and trade law, as well as in the representation of private parties and government entities in the European Courts. He has extensive experience in other areas of EU competition law and German law. Mr. Müller-Ibold is widely published on the various aspects of European Union and German law.Â
Mr. Müller-Ibold joined the firm in 1991. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Boesebeck Droste Rechtsanwälte in Düsseldorf where he practiced German commercial law and German private international law. From 1983 to 1988, Mr. Müller-Ibold was a lecturer in the department of EC law at the University of Hamburg. He received an LL.M. degree from the University of Miami Law School, a Doctor of Law (Dr. jur.) degree from the University of Hamburg in 1989, and passed the two state exams in law with honors in 1983 and 1988.Â
Mr. Müller-Ibold is a member of the Bar in Frankfurt and Brussels. He is a member of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Europarecht, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Rechtsvergleichung, and the Deutsche-Amerikanische Juristenvereinigung. His native language is German, he is fluent in English, and proficient in Spanish and French.Â
