Professor Takigawa has analyzed competition policy issues in the following areas. (1) Competition laws (antitrust law, or antimonopoly law) in Japan, US, and EU, (2)Trade laws and WTO treaty, (3)Economic regulations, and (4)Intellectual property rights
From April 1971 to July 199 he was an Official at Fair Trade Commission of Japan.His Last position was as Director, External Affairs Office. From 1982-8 he served as the First Secretary, Japanese Delegation to OECD.
