Melanie Stallings Williams is a professor of business law and the executive director of the Real Estate and Land Use Institute, a collaboration among California State University, California’s Department of Real Estate, and industry leaders.
Professor Williams teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels, with courses including traditional Business Law core courses along with Marketing Law, Intellectual Property Law, Ethics, Negotiation, in the MBA Introduction to Contemporary Business cross-disciplinary course, and in the university’s Sustainability program. She has taught, as well, in international business programs at ICN (Nancy, France), INSEEC (Paris, Bordeaux), Corvinus University (Budapest), and Toulouse Business School. Her areas of academic research include antitrust law, intellectual property, ethics, biotechnology, small business programs, and pedagogy.
