Nicola Giocoli

Nicola Giocoli (PhD) is full professor of economics at the University of Pisa. A Marco Fanno scholar and winner of the Joseph Dorfman Prize of the History of Economics Society, his publications cover many fields in economics, law & economics and the history of economic thought. He authored four books, including the prize-winning Modeling Rational Agents (2003) and Predatory Pricing in Antitrust Law and Economics (2014), and several scientific articles. His current research deals with the relationship between economic ideas on markets and competition and American constitutional and antitrust law. Giocoli is managing editor of HEI – History of Economic Ideas.
