South Korea: Yoon & Yang hired former Secretary General of the Korea FTC

Yoon & Yang LLC adds former Secretary General of the Korea Fair Trade Commission to its antitrust practice in Seoul.

Cholsoo Han, an antitrust expert and a long time KFTC official, has joined the firm’s antitrust practice group as its senior advisor after serving at the KFTC for 19 years. Before joining the firm, Cholsoo Han was Secretary General of the KFTC. During his tenure at the KFTC, Cholsoo Han served as a Director General and most recently Secretary General until January 2014. Especially, as a Director General, Cholsoo Han experienced five bureaus including Cartel Investigation Bureau, Competition Policy Bureau, Anti-Monopoly Bureau, Market Analysis Bureau and Consumer Policy Bureau.

Mr. Han received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Chonbuk National University in 1982. He also earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1998 and is admitted to practice in New York.
