Allen & Overy Grow Their Global Antitrust Team

Allen & Overy welcomed Hugh Hollman as a partner in their global antitrust team. Hollman brings with him extensive experience in advising on merger control and cartel cases worldwide, as well as antitrust regulatory enforcement at the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), where he served as an attorney adviser to FTC Commissioner William Kovacic.

He advises on major projects across a broad range of industry sectors, including energy and petrochemicals, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, life sciences, and aerospace, and has particular knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa region.

Allen & Overy has specialists working collaboratively across four global regions – Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America – one of the largest Competition teams among the major international law firms. As such they combine the efficiency of a global footprint with local depth of expertise.

A single team with an international focus and creative thinking, they provide an expansive range of services and regularly represent their clients on merger control, cartel and abuse of dominance/monopolization, antitrust disputes including judicial review and private damages, compliance and counseling, sector regulation and market investigations, public procurement and competitive tendering, and State aid.
