Arnold & Porter announced today that David Henry, a practicing UK barrister and Belgian advocaat, has joined the firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice as counsel, resident in Brussels.
Mr. Henry, who brings with him more than a decade of antitrust experience, advises across the full spectrum of EU antitrust/competition matters, including cartel defense, abuse of dominance, merger control, distribution, and the interaction between antitrust and intellectual property. He has represented companies across a wide range of industries, including, but not limited to, pharmaceuticals and technology. Mr. Henry has extensive experience in representing international companies before the European Commission and in multi-jurisdictional matters. He has also advised various international companies in merger control proceedings and in litigation before national regulators and courts.
Fluent in French and German, Mr. Henry is a visiting lecturer on advanced EU competition law at the University of Liège in Belgium, and at the College of Europe in Belgium on EU competition policy and high-tech markets.
