Japan/US/Canada: Competition regulators join forces for 33rd meeting

Japan held its 33rd bilateral meeting with competition policymakers, in cooperation with the US Federal Trade Commission, US Department of Justice and the Canadian Competition Bureau, a longstanding tradition to promote collaboration on antitrust policy.

The Japan Fair Trade Commission has held such meetings since 1977, including Canada’s competition regulator since 1987.

This year, the meeting was held in Washington, D.C.
