Germany: Clothing chain and manufacturer face RPM fine

German clothing chain P&C (Peek & Cloppenburg) and clothing manufacturer Wellensteyn have been given a €11 million (US$12.9 million) fine for illegal retail price arrangements from 2008 to 2013.

Complaints were filed with German antitrust regulator Bundeskartellamt in March 2013 and the following investigation found that the two companies agreed on minimum prices and restricting internet sales. Any retailer that violated these arrangements was pressured by both companies.

The fine can still be appealed.
