Global: White & Case promotes three to competition practice

White & Case has promoted competition lawyers Justus Herrlinger in Hamburg, Heather Burke in Silicon Valley and JD Donaldson in Washington, DC in it’s global antitrust practice, along with 37 in other areas of law worldwide.

“Our new partners have demonstrated their leadership ability within the Firm and their commitment to our clients,” said White & Case Chairman Hugh Verrier. “This is our largest partner class in six years and reflects our commitment to growing from within. More than half of our new partners are based in the United States and London, in line with our stated strategy to grow our offices in these locations.”

The new partners are:

Heather Burke has been named a partner in our Global Antitrust Practice. Based in Silicon Valley, she focuses on complex commercial litigation and counseling in antitrust, intellectual property, class actions and trade regulation.
John Donaldson has been named a partner in our Global Antitrust Practice. Based in Washington, DC, John represents clients before the Department of Justice and US Federal Trade Commission on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other joint business activities.
Justus Herrlinger has been named a partner in our Global Antitrust Practice. Based in Hamburg, he advises on cartel investigations, merger control proceedings and joint ventures, and he has represented clients before the European Commission, civil courts and the Federal Cartel Office.
