The Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF) has emphasized the importance of a digital competition law in India, stating that the absence of such a law could result in big tech companies benefiting at the expense of Indian startups.
ADIF spokespersons have urged for fair competition and a level playing field for Indian startups, highlighting the need for fundamental rights such as the absence of conflict of interest and the non-bundling of services by big techs.

The organization has also noted that other countries, such as the European Union, have recognized the need for such laws and have taken steps in that direction.
