Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced the addition of Thomas Lang to the firm’s Washington, DC office as a partner on the firm’s internationally recognized Antitrust & Trade Regulation Practice.
Mr. Lang brings a rare combination of antitrust and competition law perspective from various lenses in private practice, government, and academia. His experience includes navigating international price-fixing cases, allegations of predatory or discriminatory pricing, monopolization claims, class actions, multi-district litigation, state court indirect purchaser litigation, and civil and criminal investigations by the FTC and the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
“Tom is an exceptional antitrust lawyer who has earned a phenomenal reputation during his twenty-five years in private practice and as a government enforcer at the Federal Trade Commission,” said Pete Boyle, Chair of Kilpatrick Townsend’s Antitrust Practice. “His skills and experience adds valuable bench strength to our internationally renowned antitrust practice. We are very excited to welcome Tom.”
Prior to joining his previous firm, Mr. Lang served as a Senior Litigation Counsel with the Federal Trade Commission. Mr. Lang has also led a prestigious military career having served as staff on the U.S. Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA affairs and as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and the Army National Guard rising to the rank of Major.
“I see a fantastic opportunity with Kilpatrick Townsend collaborating with the existing antitrust team and growing the practice,” said Tom Lang. “I have had the privilege of working with Pete Boyle and other members of team previously and have seen first-hand their commitment to providing excellent client service. I am thrilled to be part of the team.”
