 |  February 11, 2019

Peruvian regulator INDECOPI has urged new municipal authorities to eliminate illegal or unreasonable bureaucratic barriers to competition, as well as to refrain from engaging in acts of unfair competition with the private sector.

In a document sent to incoming local authorities, the regulator informed them regarding actions taken by the commissions for the Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers and the Control of Unfair Competition to promote free competition in the economy.
