The National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC) has authorized the purchase of Bymóvil, owner of a network of 800 franchised stores selling the Yoigo mobile brand, by MásMóvil, the current owner of the telecommunications operator.
The Competition Council at the CNMC authorized the acquisition with exclusive control that was notified to it last November 30, a necessary step for MásMóvil to make good on its purchase of the company.
Yoigo began to market its services through the web and a call center at the end of 2006 and it was in mid-2008 when Bymovil opened its first physical store in Madrid. Presently Bymóvil generates a hundred jobs directly and more than 1,000 indirect ones.
