U.S. Latin music promoter sued for anticompetitive behavior

Latin music promoter Zamora Entertainment has been issued a complaint by Sol Entertainment and Hispanic Radio Broadcast in Federal Court. The plaintiffs argue that Zamora is monopolizing music venues in 16 states with the promoter’s false claims of “exclusive rights,” coercing bands to play only on its stages which all house more than 1,500 people. Zamora operates out of Michigan but is based in Delaware.
