U.S.: Two possibilities for next Democratic congressional antitrust leader

Senator Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) is set to vacate his position as head of the U.S. Senate’s antitrust subcommittee following the November elections, and two front-runners have the seat up for grabs, according to antitrust experts. Democratic Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar are the two major possibilities for Sen. Kohl’s replacement. Sen. Kohl will complete his fourth term early next year and announced earlier this year he will not seek re-election.
