UK: Linklaters partner appointed to Competition Appeal Tribunal

Michael Cutting will be retiring from Linklaters on April 30, 2018, and joining the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) as an Ordinary Member from October 1, 2018.

Michael started his career at Linklaters in 1986 and became partner in 1995, specialising in EU and UK competition and utility law and practice with considerable experience of the application of competition law in the utility, leisure and transport sectors.

The United Kingdom CAT is a specialist judicial body with cross-disciplinary expertise in law, economics, business and accountancy. Its function it to hear and decide cases involving competition of economic regulatory issues.
