UOKiK investigates possible price-fixing by Orlen Oil

The UOKiK, Poland’s Office for Competition and Consumer Protection, has launched a price-fixing investigation of Orlen Oil, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PKN Orlen. The regulator suspects Orlen Oil and its distributors of fixing the price of its Platinum oils for cars, trucks, and equipment. If the distributors charged lower prices than those agreed upon, Orlen reserved the right to terminate contracts.
