Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo announced a new hire to boost its antitrust practice, according to reports.
Mintz Levin has hired Dionne Lomax to the firm’s office in Washington, D.C., where she will join from Vinson & Elkins, where she was partner.
Lomax formerly served at the US Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division as a trial attorney.
Reports say Lomax is particularly versed in antitrust matters involving the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Her experience includes representing clients before the DOJ as well as the Federal Trade Commission in cases of mergers, joint ventures, and more.
Mintz Levin is reportedly seeking to expand its antitrust practice as mergers and acquisitions within the pharmaceutical market heat up.
