The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has notified NCC and Veidekke that it plans to exclude them from competing for asphalt contracts in North and South Trøndelag this year. NCC and Veidekke are Norway’s largest asphalt contractors. The agency’s decision stems from the Norwegian Competition Authority’s cartel and price-fixing probe, of which a decision is still pending.
