CHALLENGES TO ANTITRUST
IN A CHANGING ECONOMY

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Our 2nd Annual conference on “Challenges to Antitrust in a Changing Economy”, co-organized by CPI and CCIA, picked up where we left off the previous year with the debate on competition law and economics in the tech industry. Doubtless, the last decade has seen a growing thirst for innovation in many industries worldwide. Innovation certainly makes economies more dynamic and competitive, but it can pose challenges for legislative and regulatory bodies trying to keep pace with rapidly evolving businesses.

The conference featured a keynote address by Makan Delrahim and a fireside chat with Noah Phillips, Nikhil Shanbhag and William Kovacic.

Panels throughout the day included topics such as: Competition, Concentration, and Common Ownership; Competition in Digital Advertising; The Economics Behind Digital Services; FTC Hearings & Other Consultations; and a Former Enforcers’ Roundtable.
